Asus P560

In addition to P320 and ZX1 Asus seems to have another PDA phone up their sleeves. The new P560.

Asus P560 should be marketed next June for approximately 500 €. It will be shipped with the GPS navigation kit including the mounts, car charger, and the iGO 6 navigation software with regional European maps preloaded on a 512MB memory card.

P560 will use Windows Mobile 6.1 as well as the new touch screen interface.

Asus P320

Asus P320 which we had announced back in March just made it to FCC. This means we can expect to see in the States as soon as this year.

The specs of Asus P320 are as follows:

Asus R700t

After Asus R700 we now hear that Asus is showcasing Asus R700t - pretty much the same GPS navigation system with traffic message channel capability. The rest of the specs will remain the same - but to summarize R700t will have a 4.3″ touch screen, hands free bluetooth to pair up with your phone, and run on a long lasting 1300mAh Li-Ion battery.

Asus M536

At CeBIT in Germany Asus announced a GPS enabled PDAphone called M536 which has full qwerty keyboard in the front just like a Blackberry.

Asus M536 is the successor to Asus M530W but adds new features such as the touch screen, a biometric finger print reader and a GPS receiver. Kind of different with M536 is the square screen resolution at 320×320 instead of the usual 320×240 pixels.

Asus taking the Lamborghini name behind them introduced a new smartphone called Asus Lamborghini ZX1.

After Asus R50a, we just got the news that Asus is readying another GPS enabled UMPC called R70a which is already on display at CeBIT in Germany.

The details on the specs are not yet clear for R70a but here is what we know so far:

Asus P320 now official

At CeBIT in Hannover which opened its doors today, Asus made their GPS equipped 2.5G PDA phone official and is called P320. We had already unveiled this device recently under the Galaxy Mini code name.

When you hold this PDA phone you are impressed by its compact size and super light weight. From its set of features and price it seems like P320 is positioned as an entry level model; mostly for first time PDA phone owners.

Asus Galaxy Mini with GPS

People at Asus decided that they could not let HTC be the only one coming out with Windows Mobile devices this year. Second quarter of the year Asus will be releasing a direct competitor of HTC Touch called Asus Galaxy Mini (code name). Asus Galaxy Mini is a PDA Phone with GPS which is very compact in size and is considered an entry level device. It runs under Windows Mobile 6 (probably WM 6.1 when it comes out) and has a TI processor running at 200Mhz. As far as connectivity it features WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and GSM/GPRS/EDGE.

Other features include MicroSD card slot, 2MP camera, mini USB, and a QVGA screen. It will be available several colors such as pink, blue and champagne.

It will be out in Europe and retail for somewhere in between 300 and 400€… read »

We have some pics and the full specs from CES 2008 about ASUS’ latest UMPC, Asus R50A. We also had a chance to play with this GPS enabled UMPC and were quite pleased with its first impression it left on us. It felt like it was well built and we found it quite responsive considering it was running Windows Vista.

Asus M930W

We have some new pictures of the upcoming Asus M930W communicator. This PDA phone will have many features but unfortunately none of them involve the use of GPS. However M930W is still a very decent device worth mentioning on Navigadget. And if you must have GPS, you can always get a bluetooth GPS receiver.

M930W has two displays. The smaller on the outside, and a bigger screen inside. Asus M930W really excels in terms of form factor allowing you to open the screen even up to 180 degrees. It has a numeric keypad on the outside and a full QWERTY keyboard on the inside.
