TomTom just announced their high end GO and GO LIVE with HD Traffic information which include the new models GO LIVE 1000 which we already talked about, and GO LIVE 1005 with larger 13cm (5″) screen.
Connected GO LIVE 1005 comes with free HD Traffic for a year which gets you accurate traffic information, and locations of speed cameras, Local Search with Google, up-to-date local and five-day forecasts courtesy of TomTom Weather.
One of the new features on the TomTom GO Live 1000 and 1005 is the capacitive fluid touch screen, easy click magnetic mount that works with just one hand, and IQ Routes that uses real speed data collected from millions of users.pic

This is for Europe at this time and beta testers are not happy with the way the unit works.
For me it’s wait and see but if the Garmin 1695 gets great reviews I’ll keep my 740 and buy a 1695 for comparison. To the winner goes the monthly subscription.
