GoBandit GPS camcorder

We already know Sony can put GPS in their HDR-XR520V, HDR-XR500V, HDR-XR200V camcorders but this is the first time we heard about GoBandit HD. We’re a bit skeptical with this one since all the pics looks computer generated but other than their site quite legit.

You can read all about its features here but for us here at Navigadget the most important feature is the integrated GPS which can show your speed (current and max) and altitude in 3D, on a map. Other great features include 720p HD video recording, waterproof, and the rotatable lens.

It only measures 105 x 62 x 34 mm and weighs 145 grams, making it suitable to attach to a helmets, sports goggles or other equipment.

When it comes out in Europe, Australia, and the U.S. this May it will cost close to equivalent of $400.
