NAVIGON updates their iPhone GPS navigation app

German Navigon just upated their GPS navigation application – MobileNavigator – for the iPhone. In addition to the standard features that you’d expect from any other GPS navigation app; Navigon now offers a few extras.

One of these is the in-app connection to Facebook and Twitter. This lets users post their destination, ETA, and current position straight from the app, without interrupting your directions.

Second we’ve got the Panorama View 3D which promises 3D terrain views provided by NASA. This is integrated in your maps; and can render maps to depict elevations, shadows, and geographic images.

And the final new feature is MyRoutes. This is pretty much a customized direction planning which offers three choices based on your driving habits, day of the week, and of course time of travel.

OMG, is that an iPhone on T-Mobile? Yes, but in Germany.

Personally, I don’t know how I used to manage without my GPS on my car. I use it everyday to find parking spaces, get to and from work and I can even access the traffic. I recently added Tom Tom GPS app to my iphone and it has revolutionized my driving experience. I use many online cars sites listed on http://www.dozencars.com to find the best apps, accessories and blogs. I feel that the Tom Tom GPS is one of the best on the market.
