Samsung NP-N150 netbook to feature GPS

Hopefully soon enough this will be standard but these days if you want a GPS enabled netbook you’ll have to go with Samsung N150. The rest of the specs are pretty good too. You can expect 3G connectivity first off. Even though the 1024×600 resolution on the 10.1″ screen is not very pleasing, you’ll pleased to hear about the 4,400 mAh battery and the sub $400 price tag.
Some of the other features of Samsung N150 include 802.11b/g/n wireless connectivity, Windows 7 Starter Edt., 1GB memory, 160GB HDD, 3 USB ports, and a 3-in-1 card reader.

De Nederlandse kaartenmaker Tele Atlas gaat kaarten verzorgen voor alle Samsung-toestellen met gps.
Bij de kaarten levert Tele Atlas informatie over onder meer restaurants, tankstations, supermarkten en winkels. Ook kunnen de kaarten van Tele Atlas worden aangestuurd met gesproken instructies, zijn ze hier en daar in 3D en komen ze met applicaties die op regionaal niveau kunnen zoeken.
Samsung meldt dat Tele Atlas – eigendom van TomTom – gaat gebruiken voor álle gps-toestellen. Financiële details over de overeenkomst zijn niet bekendgemaakt.
