HTC HD2 GPS navigation

Here is a video of CoPilot and TomTom apps being tested on an HTC HD2 with WinMo.
Looks pretty sleek. However with CoPilot landscape mode isn’t all the efficient for making use of that screen. TomTom does a better job. HTC HD2 is a giant phone by the way…

once I saw the review of the HTC HD2 I was hooked. Finally a phone with the screen size to match my PSP. Plus all the other bells and whistles. I am an avid Windows Mobile user so I was a little disappointed that once in the states, the HD2 will not be running WM on the Verizon version (Passion). However, that’s just my own lack of experience or change. After reading a bunch of reviews, it sounds like not having WM OS will be a plus. If you own a HTC HD2, you discuss the phone at http://www.HTCHD2Forum.com I will be there often to share tricks.

Biggest screen in the business, the HD2 can handle WinMo 6.5, capacitive and multitouch, but can’t even hack GPS?
A little disappointing judging by that video….

the hd2 is a good unlocked phone but i still think that unlocked iphones are better. i got my iphone with my new contract but it broke so i went on gsmauthority.com and picked up an hd2. it works great and i love the touch screen even though its a little too big, but overall, iphones are better. i do like it much better than unlocked blackberry phones though!! i guess you get what you pay for.
