navmii for netbooks and the iPhone
Jul 8, 2009 gps navigation, phones, software, umpc

People at Navmii just released their GPS navigation system for laptops with support for Windows XP and Vista. Considering most netbooks these days come with XP it could be nice add-on to your netbook to make it more useful. You can maybe pickup a GPS embedded netbook such as Dell Mini 10 or Mio Litepad N890 and pick up the Navmii GPS navigation software for £46 and have yourself fully functional computer and a GPS navigation system.
Most features of Navmii are pretty standard such as voice guidance, day/night mode, 2D/3D option – so nothing too exciting there.
Speaking Navmii, they’re also getting ready to release software on the iPhone. We don’t have any information except a few tiny screenshots.
We’ll be adding them to our iPhone GPS Apps list.
