spotigoHyPS is for Hybrid positioning. The service just got announced couple of weeks ago by Spotigo. The fully integrated service can combine GPS and Spotigo’s WiFi and Cell-ID positioning methods as inputs to calculate the position of devices. Which means that any device that contains a GPS chip and/or a WiFi card or simply a SIM card can be located.

Spotigo is a European company that has offices in Düsseldorf and Madrid.
