Ovation MC995D USB modem with GPS

Novatel Wireless recently announced Ovation MC995D, a high-speed USB data modem for HSPA cellular data networks.

Ovation MC995D is optimized for Europe, but it should work whereever you find the network. It can get you 7.2 Mbps download 5.76 Mbps upload speeds at maximum performance, and since it supports multiple frequencies it can work over HSPA, EDGE or GPRS networks.

And just like Sprint’s 598U and 597 it offers integrated A-GPS capabilities. However you’ll have to bring your own GPS navigation software.

Other features of MC995D include Mac, Linux, Windows support, and a microSD card slot that can support up to 32GB.
