3G Sidekick LX with GPS
Jan 29, 2009 gps navigation, phones

There’s a new Sidekick coming up in 2009 to T-Mobile that is 3G enabled and includes a GPS receiver.
According to the photo above the new Sidekick LX will include location based services such as turn-by-turn navigation and Microsoft Live Local Search and Maps – which makes us wonder why not Google Maps????

It doesn’t have google maps because the “maker” of the side kick is Danger. Microsoft bought Danger a while ago in an effort to improve it’s standing in the mobile phone space.

sidekick has been in the mobile phone industry for a while and frankly i think the sidekick society is being shortchange.
the browser desperately needs a serious upgrade it needs to be flash enabled we should be able to use sites like youtube and the like with no problems by now.thanks though for the camera upgrade and the video recording with the flash but come on people shouldn’t the camera be on at least 4mp by now not 3
come on the sidekick society really deserve more than this and im sure most of you would agree
