palm pre does GPS

Earlier today Palm’s new touchscreen phone Palm Pre was announced with a press conference.
You’ll be hearing more about the Palm Pre later on but for now here are some quick facts:
- slide down full keyboard
- Sprint EVDO rev. A
- Wi-Fi
- Bluetooth
- gesture controls
- removable battery
- micro USB
- USB storage support
- 3.5mm headphone jack
- runs on Web OS
- 3MP digital camera
- LED flash
More important for us here at Navigadget is that the new Palm Pre comes with an integrated GPS receiver. We’ll have to wait and see what kind of applications will be utilizing the GPS feature.

what os are they going to use, and what software will be available as a wm pda user I interface with lots of standard software, including photo editing and storage, and of course data taging for photos.
