H300 from THEMAP
Jan 3, 2009 CES 2009, gps navigation

We don’t know of too many ‘portrait’ mode GPS navigation systems. They’re almost always ‘landscape’. Unless it is H300 from an appropriately named GPS navigation manufacturer THEMAP. They’ll be at CES 2009 next week displaying this and many other GPS navigation systems.
H300 has a transreflective 3.5″ QVGA TFT LCD display, SD/MMC card slot for audio and video playback, and a 1200mAh battery that supposedly lasts you up to 8 hours in tracking mode, and 5 hours in navigation mode.
Other features include 3-axis magnetic sensor that acts as a digital compass, built-in TMC receiver for traffic updates, optional barometer, and bluetooth connectivity.
We’ll also be visiting THEMAP at CES; and see if H300 is as good as it sounds.
