T-Mobile Dash is back in black; still no GPS

There were some rumors about a new all black Dash being the successor to the older Dash. The rumors were false. There is still no Dash II. However they got the color right.

Kind of disappointing for us here at Navigadget since the Dash would be a great device to include a GPS receiver. It is sleek, has a nice screen, and has good battery life.

Oh well. If you’re interested in this Windows Mobile phone with 1.3MP camera, full QWERTY keyboard, and a microSD card slot you can get it from T-Mobile for $100 after a two year contract and a $50 mail-in rebate.

    At this point, it seems like a no-brainer to include a GPS receiver in a device such as the Dash. Most phones nowadays already include GPS, so why not here too? I’m not sure whose decision this was, but they may want to reconsider, especially when a lot of other competing products already have GPS in phones.
