Published on December 1st, 2008 in gps navigation, reviews, tracking
We’re giving away a Qstarz BT-Q1300 Nano Travel Recorder which we have already reviewed.
Qstarz BT-Q1300 offers one touch photo geotagging, google earth integration, ability to store 200,000 waypoints, and uses a 66 channels GPS receiver. It doesn’t end there though. It also has bluetooth which means you can pair it up with PDA, phone, laptop, etc to give these other devices GPS capability.
It sells for $100 on Amazon, but if you’re lucky you can grab one of these for free. Here is how:
To participate you need to subscribe to our feed and leave a comment below with an email address we can reach you at.
We will ship this out to a U.S. address only. Sorry rest of the world. Also duplicate entries, emails, IP addresses will be disqualified.
We’ll close this article for comments a week from today and after that we’ll announce the winner.
UPDATE: The winner is commenter #10 Oliver. We’ll get in touch with him. He better live in the U.S.

I’ve been watching these GPS data loggers and have been using the GeoChron from sparkfun (www.sparkfun.com). Now to find some useful route planning / navigation software for OS X. (Where’s Delorme when you need them?)

This device looks cool. I’m subscribed to your feed. Hope I win!
Great offer! I hear goods things about the new Starz devices (from Navigadget of course). Fingers crossed for one of these little wonders.
This tool would be awesome to use on my hiking trails! Navigadget rocks!
I’ve been playing with geotagging photos, and something like this looks like a great asset.
I’m thinking I need to attach this to a traveling gnome (like in the movie Amelie); around-the-world geo-tagged with pictures.
That would be sweet to use when 4wheeling in my Jeep. I could then map out trails!
I’d love one of these. Thanks for the chance!
Thanks for the offer — already subscribed.
