dmedia P1 GPS smart phone

Published on November 18th, 2008 in gps navigation

This is another new product from dmedia. Called dmedia P1 GPS smart phone this is dmedia’s first attempt at wireless handsets. We must say they’ve done a great job for a first timer. The P1 is a Microsoft Win Mobile 6.1 Professional device with WiFi (802.11 b/g), tri-band HSDPA, and quad-band GSM/EDGE.

It uses a 2.8″ touch screen which should be plenty for GPS navigation. Speaking of GPS features, it is powered by a SiRF Atlas III processor and used by the Papago VR-ONE navigation software.

Other features of the dmedia P1 include a microSD card slot, support for AMR, MP3, AAC, WMA, AAC+ formats, digital camera, and a powerful 1530mAh battery.

Something else for us to check out CES 2009…
