For Russia only: World’s first GSM/WiMax has just been announced by a partnership between HTC and the Russian network provider Scartel. The device is called HTC MAX 4G, and when on Scartel’s Yota network, calls between Yota customers will be routed as VoIP over the WiMax network.

HTC MAX 4G looks just like Touch HD. It has a 3.8″ WVGA touchscreen, 5MP camera, Windows Mobile 6.1 Pro, 8GB of storage space, WiFi, bluetooth, accelerometer, FM radio, and … drum roll please…. integrated GPS receiver… via
