NAVIGON 8100T
Nov 10, 2008 gps navigation

Navigon just announced their high end GPS navigation system today called NAVIGON 8100T. What’s special about Navigon 8100T is that it has a new feature called Panaroma View 3D which incorporates actual terrain features and elevation. The other difference from the rest of their GPS navigation system lineup is that 8100T has brushed metal housing instead of the piano black plastic.
It will be available this month for $600; and if you choose you can pay an additional $80 for 12 map update over the course of three years.
Here are the features of the new Navigon 8100T:
- Free Real-Time Traffic Updates for Life
- Voice Destination Entry
- 4.8″ widesceen display
- Reality View Pro
- Lane Assistant Pro
- Fast Destination Entry
- Bluetooth Hands-Free
- Advanced Text-to-speech
It also features that Exit Guide feature we mentioned the other day:
Exit Guide. NAVIGON’s Highway Exit Guide enables users to search upcoming exits for one of six POI categories – food, gas, lodging, rest areas, auto service or shopping. And, with one click, the NAVIGON 8100T navigates there.
