nuviphone coming early 2009

Reuters just mentioned yesterday that the highly expected Garmin Nuviphone; which already have been delayed twice is on target for release on first half of 2009.
However now the question becomes will nuviphone still have enough umph to compete with iPhone, G1, Blackberry Storm, Samsung, and god knows what else in early 2009?

I was completely looking forward to this phone, but then it was delayed time and time again. I kept saying I wouldn’t get an iPhone just because the Nuviphone was coming out!
But I’m not waiting anymore. I think that the only benefit of the nuviphone now is the turn by turn direction. But I think blackberry’s storm and the iphone are going to one up the other areas of it too much.
Sorry Garmin, but I think you waited too long. If this came out on the heels of the iphone 3G release, you would have had a new customer in me. Not anymore though.

Having been a Garmin user since the ProNav and never been disappointed I will wait for the Nuviphone….
i ‘m a garmin man for years i’ve got the iphone and 3g one plus bb ,e71,e51,please let me get my hands on a nuviphone ,we all have phones with satnav, but do you own a satnav with a phone , no ,so please hurry up ????
