If you are interested in doing more than just navigation on your Navigon 2100 we have just the right guide for you. If you follow the instructions carefully you’ll end up with more than 25 new apps including games, and various utilities such a task manager, tetris, paint, etc… Visit kombitz for a full list.
The guide also makes very easy to undo everything:
If you don’t like it the way it is, you want to undo everything. It’s very easy to revert back to the factory state, just delete all the files you copied to your unit and rename the autorunec.exe back to autorunce.exe. Hard reset your unit afterward.

Just kidding. go out to http://navigonusa.com/ and update your software. It will update the OS the the latest Navigon release. No tricked out paint apps – just the generic navi gps stuff. Also you should always back up your gps card before trying to modify anything. Or buy a 2nd memory card to try tricked out hacks.

These GPS units seem the perfect setup for projects. They are relatively cheap and have a touch screen, GPS unit, etc… Does anyone know any links for reprogramming these units and modifying them to work with external sensors, etc?
