iGPS360 is a GPS receiver for first gen iPhone and iPod Touch. Manufactured by OrangeGadgets; the first batch will consist of 1000 units and will ship as soon as 22nd of this month.
Our state-of-the art GPS module brings you full GPS capability for your iPhone and iPod touch.
Included with the GPS module is a 6ft USB-A to micro USB-B cable for on-the-go or at home charging. With this cable you will be able to charge your iPhone or iPod touch while the module is plugged into your handheld device. A suitable USB car charger, USB wall charger or USB desktop/laptop port is required for this functionality (not included).
The price of the module will be $75.00 + shipping and this price includes the USB cable.

I have a touch and would love to have GPS functionality too. Will this device only work on jailbroken iPod touches, or will the GPS work with the touch and apps as if it was the official apple internal GPS? is there even an api for an external, 3rd party GPS unit?

DUH!! you dont need a gps receiver , the 3G IPhone has a gps incorporated on the hardware
