If you happen to use ESRI’s RouteMAP IMS software you might be please to know that you can now access local weather via Weatherbug. Weatherbug is the world’s largest weather sensing network with more than 8,000 tracking stations in the United States. RouteMAP software is designed for local consumers to find directions to local businesses from the businesses web site. With the addition of the Weatherbug service the consumer can plan their route and plan on staying dry. No word yet on whether the software is available for personal use.
