Garmin Mobile XT mini-site review
Published on October 12th, 2008 in garmin, gps navigation, reviews, software
Garmin Mobile’s XT mini-site is a great application that really beefs up your GPS enabled smart phone. The site features an interface that we found very easy to use. The intuitive design will allow even the most inexperienced users to feel comfortable navigating the site. The GPS interface offers spoken turn by turn directions and can even import the data from your contact list which provides one touch navigation to the people listed. The other features include gas price alerts, traffic notification, and you can even check your flight status. Installing Garmin Mobile XT is as simple as plugging in the micro sd card they will send you. The service starts at $99.99 and can be found here. The trend of smart phone’s becoming fully enabled GPS devices is one we saw coming a long time ago. After using Garmin Mobile XT for a few days we can see that device is becoming a reality before our eyes.
