TomTom USer: If you do the math, the fuel prices feature is worth it. I have it on my GO 730 and these days w/ fluctuating gas prices I end up frequently saving 25 cents a gallon. For $14.95/year, it does work

From working in marketing I've been able to test out a lot of different GPS models, and the TomTom units hold their own. One of my favorite things about them is that they are high-tech, yet I can still lend mine to my mom (who is not quite as tech-savvy) and she has no problem using it. That is a rare combination for a tech product.

This is just another money spinning idea from TT who just take take take for pointless services that do not work. My TMC still does not work, mapshare is more trouble than its worth, the help page is not any help at all and is the most useless feature ever sold on a sat nav, my phone hardly ever pairs with it and when it does the services are not available. Why cant TT get their act together? I would not subscribe to anything TT say or do now. I just don’t believe that what they claim is true.

What a great idea. Gas prices are certainly having a negative impact on my life right now and any device which makes petrol a wee bit less expensive is heading to the top of my list.
