becker 7394 review
Published on October 7th, 2008 in gps navigation, reviews
Hey we didn’t know Becker 7394 even existed but now there’s a review out from a guy who bought the device on sale for only $99. However it does awfully resemble Becker 7934 which we have already talked about. Maybe the reviewer mistyped. But either way we have a decent review on our hands including a ‘how to hack’ section at the end.
Related:..As I said in the beginning, the device can officially be used to play mp3/wma and view jpg. But if you’re into hacking like me, you can easily add more programs and games to the device. You see the device has a hidden Window CE 4.2 which makes the device basically an HPC/pocketPC. To get to the hidden OS what you do is select setting from the main menu then click information. From there you can see a Navigon logo. Click it 3 times and you should be taken to an explorer window. You can transfer files through ActiveSync or through the SD card. Although keep in mind anything not saved in the “My Flash Disk” will automatically be deleted on a hard shut down (the switch on the right). So you will want to transfer all your programs there…
