Sanyo EasyStreet NVM-4370 now official

Published on September 16th, 2008 in gps navigation

Sanyo NVM-4370, which we first got a glimpse of back in CES has finally been made official today. They’ve priced the device at $300 which we think is appropriate considering other brands with similar features in the market.

For $300 you’re getting a GPS navigation system with a 4.3″ screen, text-to-speech feature, bluetooth connectivity, FM transmitter to use your car’s audio, and the ability to hook up a reverse gear camera to use while backing up.

NVM-4370 comes with 7 million points of interests and the map data covers the US, including Alaska and Hawaii, Canada and Puerto Rico. You’ve also got your basic multimedia handler such as the video, audio player and the picture viewer.

GPS isn’t a high tech gadget nowaday. It is using by taxi drivers in some countries. It has become common and cheaper. I think every car owner, traveller, and business man should have one in hand.

Been interested in this unit. People liked the performance of prior easystreet series but was lacking in support for updates to maps and software. Heard there was no support from Sanyo to update for prior easystreet series. This would be a deal-breaker for me.

  15. Brilliant work, keep it up!
