If you want to track and trace your kids here is one gadget named B200 GPS Mini Pack Tracker. This GPS tracker is pocket-sized and light weight. Like most other live tracking system it utilizes GPS and GPRS/GSM wireless networks to get a position fix and broadcast the location back to home base. The good thing is that it does not need an external antenna so it is always out of the way.

Reporting methods
B200 can be configured by SMS commands and can send its GPS report via SMS messages.

The GPS report shows a user’s ID and position data in the form of UTC, Latitude, Longitude, SOG, COG and its status, such as regular auto-reports, a random polling report and an alerting emergency report.

When one uses the SOS Button of B200, it will immediately send out an emergency message along with its GPS report showing the emergency circumstance via its own built- in phone numbers.

Main features of the product

  • Equipped with 20 parallel channels GPS receiver
  • Emergency Alert: SOS Button
  • Positioning Accuracy: Less than 15 meters, SEP without SA
  • Power Supply: Standard: 3.6V DC Li-Ion battery
  • Internal GPRS/GSM antenna
  • 48hrs battery life after fully charged; in standby mode

If this device were to cost less than $100 and a monthly service fee of less than $12 would you consider getting one for your child?

Like this idea but I am really looking for something that is like a non-tampering watch or something that someone else can not removed or seperated from the child.

But this looks like a great option for a little older.
