Calorie GPS 1.0 – for Palm OS

Here is interesting piece of software. Calorie GPS 1.0. This is the first caloric consumption calculator that works based on your GPS coordinates. According to the description it can provide fairly accurate statistics based on the GPS readings and a few user-defined factors such as weight, terrain characteristics, activity type, etc…

Obviously you’ll need a Treo and a GPS receiver to work with Calorie GPS. And then it can track your location, calculate your speed, and distance traveled. Using this information it will constantly estimate the current caloric consumption of your body, as well as calculate the total amount of calories burnt.

Download it and give it a try if you own one of these compatible Treo’s: Treo 180, Treo 270, Treo 300, Treo 600, Treo 650, Treo 680, Treo 700p, Centro, Treo 500, Treo 755p.
