We have the first shot of the Harley Davidson branded Garmin Zumo, aka Garmin Road Tech Zumo that we mentioned yesterday. As you can see it has the exact form factor as zumo 450 and zumo 550. The only difference is the darker color and the Harley Davidson logo near the top. There’s also the “road tech zumo” text in the front in Harley orange… via

Hello GPS users, and Motorcycle enthusiasts. I just wanted to add a few comments on my new HD Road Tech Zumo. In a summary word, WOW! This is a great vehicle GPS unit with many wonderful and simple features. I especially like the fuel gage feature which illuminates when the GPS realizes it has gone a preset mileage number, and recommends you start looking for gas, and it even shows you where gas is in relation to your current position in mile and direction.
I have a Bluetooth phone and helmet headset, which allows me to utilize this units Bluetooth features of the GPS which is very cool and useful. I linked up the three devices so when a phone call comes in, the GPS shows a phone, and the call, and if the caller is on your Contacts list, it will also show who is calling. Then by just touching the screen (even with gloves on), it answered the phone, and I hear and can talk hands free with my helmet on.
The controls are all through the touch screen and a couple of device buttons, which are easily performed with my riding gloves on. I also get XM Traffic advisories as I am riding, and the unit will reroute my ride to avoid them. It also plays XM radio to my helmet for entertainment.
It is very nice to be able to upload great rides which someone else has already designed, and no matter where I am, I can touch the screen and select Go To Home, and a direct map and course is displayed to get me there fast, so I am never lost.
If you love to ride, and don’t care where you are, but need to know how to get somewhere quick, this is the way to go!
Enjoy the road, and simplify your life, use this GPS and GO!
