iPhone firmware 2.1 with more GPS functions
Published on July 25th, 2008 in gps navigation
Rumors on the internets suggest the new firmware for iPhone that is currently in beta, namely iPhone OS 2.1, will be adding a series of new core location features.
These new features will make it easier to access location info. For example new functions that return the direction you are heading, and the speed you are traveling at. We’re surprised such basic functions had to be left for a later release but later is better than never and all this suggest we will probably soon have an app for navigation system with turn-by-turn directions…via
