nuviphone ready for holiday season

Garmin’s nuviphone is expected to hit the market upcoming holiday season said Garmin International denying a report which said it would begin shipping in June.
Garmin’s vice president of worldwide sales Dan Bartel had this to share with Bloomberg.
The earliest we will start deliveries will be late in the third quarter or even in the fourth quarter depending on how our carrier approvals go.
He also mentioned that Garmin was currently in the midst of some carrier negotiations and they’re not sure whether the company will also sell unlocked phones through retail chains.

Garmins GPS-mobil klar til sommerferien…
Garmin er nok mest kendt for deres nüvi-GPS’er, men tidligere på året annoncerede de, at de ville lancere en mobiltelefon med indbygget GPS.
Telefonen hedder nüviphone, og hidtil har der ikke været mange informationer om, hvornår den kom ud.
