XRoad V7 3rd version
Published on May 6th, 2008 in gps navigation
XRoad in Korea is getting ready to release their 3rd version of the highly successful GPS navigation system series V7.
Of course XRoad V7 has more than just GPS navigation to offer. Its features include media player, 800×480 resolution on a 7″ screen, FM radio, DMB tuner, picture-in-picture capability, and much more.
It has a monstrous 4200mAh Li-Ion battery, 4GB flash memory, AU 1250 600Mhz Alchemy processor, and a 128MB memory. Do not expect to see this in the U.S.. just like the previous two V7 models… via

[...] XRoad will be releasing a new V7 model, which will be exclusive to Korea. The V7 comes with a 7-inch 800 x 480 display, PMP functions, 4GB of flash memory, an FM tuner, a DMB mobile TV tuner, picture-in-picture, real-time traffic information, and a 4200mAh Li-Ion battery. No word on pricing or availablity, but it shouldn’t be that much off from the $600 price for the previous model. [Navigadget] [...]

[...] Filed under: GPS XRoad has released a few of its GPS units ’round these parts, but it looks like it’s sticking close to its home base with its latest V7 model, which will apparently be exclusive to Korea. If that doesn’t preclude you, however, it looks like you can expect a pretty decent unit, with the new V7 3rd version boasting a 7-inch 800 x 480 display, all the usual PMP functions, 4GB of flash memory, an FM tuner, a DMB mobile TV tuner, picture-in-picture, real-time traffic information, and a generous 4200mAh Li-Ion battery, to name but a few features. No word on a price or release date just yet, but we wouldn’t expect it to be too far off the $600 or so the previous model demanded. [Via Navigadget] [...]
