Mio Moov’s
Published on May 2nd, 2008 in gps navigation, mio
We had announced the arrival of Mio Moov a while ago but we didn’t think they’d be having so many different versions of them. Currently there are seven Mio Moov’s out there.
| model | screen size | tmc | bluetooth | available in |
| Moov370 | 4.3" | built-in | phone + data | Europe |
| Moov360 | 4.3" | optional | phone + data | Europe |
| Moov330 | 4.3" | optional | data | Europe |
| Moov310 | 4.3" | built-in | no | U.S. |
| Moov300 | 4.3" | optional | no | U.S. |
| Moov210 | 3.5" | built-in | no | U.S. |
| Moov200 | 3.5" | optional | no | Europe / U.S. |
One more difference we could add would be the embedded microphone that exists on models that have bluetooth handsfree calling for obvious reasons.

No Thank You! I still have a C520 that does nothing but collect dust on my desk!
1. Personal locations entered into the unit never displayed the proper address (as in some place else completely, but they were in the right City), 2. Routing tries to force you to make Right-turns-followed-by-U-turns when exiting Left off of freeway ramps (this is with U-turns turned off),
3. While following a route, the map view magically changes from “vehicle-up” mode to “airplane mode” every time a turn is made; requiring a manual reset of the map view
4. Route recommendations from the routing engine leave a LOT to be desired,
5. And lastly, support has pretty much written me off; with none of these issues fixed.

I think I’ll let myself be tempted. Since the Mio/Navman fusion, the Moov is Mio Hardware (which has never let me down) and Navman Software. This is best of both worlds. and I heard Moov support will be done by Navman Call Centre in the UK. Sounds rather promissing…
