Sanyo EasyStreet NVM-4370 GPS (4.3-inch, 4GB)…
GPS isn’t a high tech gadget nowaday. It is using by taxi drivers in some countries. It has become common and cheaper. I think every car owner, traveller, and business man should have one in hand.
Never heard of Sanyo GPS? Yes! I know Sanyo is n…
Nvm4370 is great for driving directions, but it still needs to updates the gps map of city name location such as Bay Point, CA. It shows up Contra Costa County when we try to put in the city name. Besides that NvM 4370 suppose to support the ebook like text formats since it operate under Win CE 4.2 by comparing to other gps receiver it does support text format.
I have a Sanyo nvm 4070. The day I took it out of the box, the maps were 3 years out of date. The POI’s in my home town show restraunts that have been closed for at least 3 years now! I contacted Sanyo, they said they are NOT going to develop new map updates for this unit. I guess I’m not going to buy Sanyo anything anymore. I should’ve bought the Garmin I wanted.
I bought today from Sears Canada, Ottawa. It can not show my own house on the map. Some time it work some time its not.
any body found map update for Sanyo 4370, cause when I enter a location in my state it doesn’t recognize
If your street name is made up of more than one word like, Boston Avenue, try inputting ONLY ,Boston, then touch ‘Enter’. It should find all streets starting with Boston in your city. Find the correct one and you are on your way!
Sanyo should be ashamed of themselves for ripping people off with their garbage for a GPS device. How hard is it to update a F*&% map file. We will continue to let the world know to stay away from their product as they have willingly refused to provide an update for their customers. That explains why they are on the bottom of the electronic chain. Good luck surviving the recession with that attitude.
