GPS navigation software for Sony PSP
Published on February 24th, 2008 in gps navigation, sony
We’ve talked about the Sony PSP GPS navigation system numerous times before. Apparently the software was on demo at the Game Developers Conference recently. The GPS add-on (PSP-290) is not seen in this pic for it is a developers kit version it says our source:
Related:However there were a bunch (7) GPS-supporting games that had been released in Japan on view, including Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops Plus & a couple of golf games. (And by the way, the reason you can’t see the GPS top-mounted aerial in the photo is this is a devkit PSP.)

is it necessary for me to acquire an external gps receiver for my psp so that it works as a gps device? i have a software for it though.
It’s really great to see Sony adding awesome features to it’s portable device. I can’t imagine sticking the PSP in the middle of my car following directions tho, it would look weird.
is it out for download or is it hardware side? nice addition to the psp, anyway i have a blog about the PSP here: Tech4idiots
Sony in recent times has been adding great develpment to the PSP,the last I read was the ability to have access to the FM radio on the PSP and now GPS navigation software for the PSP, this is awesome.
Have a case in court to know to visit at.Thanks. ^_^
I have been searching hard for info on this, so thanks for the post, any ideas where I can get more information?
