Nokia 6220

Nokia seems to be embedding an A-GPS chip in almost all their handsets these days (just we like mentioned almost a year ago) Let’s start off with the Nokia 6220. One of the highlights of Nokia 6220 is the 5MP camera with the Xenon flash and Carl Zeiss optics. No optical zoom – which means do not throw away your digital camera just yet. The other is of course the A-GPS receiver chip which can provide door-to-door navigation with the right software – which reads: no navigation unless you pay for add-on services.

However A-GPS does provide some extra functionality out of the box such as the automatic geotagging of your photos.

Nokia 6220 is expected to start shipping in the 3rd quarter of 2008 in selected markets with an estimated retail price of 325 €.
