more on Samsung G810
Feb 12, 2008 gps navigation, samsung

We already told you about this Samsung G810 a few days earlier but now we have a much nicer photo and more details.
The software for GPS navigation is very similar to the one on i550 and i560 and Google Maps 2.0 comes pre-installed and work with the on board GPS receiver.
G810 has a dedicated button for activating the GPS software which in this case is Navigon 6.27. Just like Nokia is doing with their maps – with Samsung all you get is a two week trial version after which you’ll have to pay about 60 € for route calculations and voice guidance.
Also check out this extended review of G810 which talks about all the navigation software in detail and provides photos taken with the 5MP camera and 3x optical zoom.
