Did you get any information on screen resolution, or DPI? Garmin needs to do better than wide quarter VGA to compete with the iPhone. They are coming up with the Garmin 5000 soon, which has quarter VGA, which is new for them. I look forward to higher resolutions on GPSs. That was one nice thing about the HP 310 GPS.

I’m very curious, where it will wome first in the world. Maybe even before official release date.
Sure they will release mor info on this camera, GPS, mobile …
Will there be same or even more gadgets as for the iPhone
I want one Gps,3.5G and wifi so cool bring it on Garmin.
Detta är den telefon som jag längtat efter sedan GPS blev tillgängligt. Grattis. Hög “vill-ha-faktor”
I hope you will release it with open platform, because operators differ in covering of Sweden.
Guaranteed crap!
Just like everything else Garmin makes. Don’t believe the hype, they leaching on Apple’s innovation.
Dont waste your money.
I use a Garmin in my Prius and it works better than the Toyota Nav system. I use Garmin nav systems in both helicopters and fixed wing aircraft and they are excellent
I’m not sure Ronny knows what he is talking about– I’m looking forward to the Nuviphone
Why did Garmin go with a “custom” OS? Why not Windows Mobile? Sure, it’s far from perfect, but with 3rd party software available, it would be an excellent all-in-one device.
Anyone know what cell network this will support?
I love my Garmin Nuvi. I use the bluetooth feature so I can use it for hands free talking. But having a cell phone built-in will be even better. I can’t wait.
I agree with Angelo: use WinMobile, Garmin! You can draw on the apps base out there and differentiate on best-of-breed GPS. I have lots of apps on my PDA (HTC Kaiser) and, however nifty the NuviPhone, I can’t just dump them. We don’t need another proprietary phone/PDA/GPS operating system with marginal applications support.
I agree with Syd. Garmin make excellent products. Ronny must work for Apple.
well I tried the iphone, what a stinker I have been using pda’s for as long as they have been around garmin could do a better job without trying but go with windows mobile.
i want to know how many price of this phone
