From Google Maps to your TomTom
Published on December 6th, 2007 in gps navigation, software, tomtomTomTom just announced that they’re teaming up with Google, enabling you to send addresses from Google Maps directly to your TomTom navigation device via the TomTom Home software.
In effort to benefit TomTom customers, Google Maps’ local search page has added a “Send to GPS” button which allows users to do a one-click transfer without downloading any zip files.

re. Southpaw, your GPS has to be plugged into a USB port… Now that google maps has this great facility to pull your route around and replan it, wouldn’t it be great to send the whole route up to your TomTom instead of just the way points… Gotta be coming? (I hope!)
