RoadTour wants to teach Britons where Stonehenge really is
Dec 4, 2007 gps navigation, software

RoadTour of U.K. just introduced a new software that can install onto your already existing Garmin GPS system and other mobile devices running MS Mobile.
Roadtour is basically an e-tour guide that can tell you about interesting locations as you approach them. Users for example can hear all about the nearest castles, see pictures of historic homes and even read all about the best local pubs.
Currently they offer 3 different versions:
- ROADTOUR Heritage – 600 UK Heritage sites (£19.95)
- ROADTOUR Pubs & Inns – (£14.95)
- ROADTOUR – The Full Trip – above two combined (£29.95)
Makers of RoadTour say the software is constantly updated and new versions for existing users will be made available in 2008. So should we just wait?
