Garmin today announced that Volvo will offer nüvi 760 as a customized navigation solution for select Volvo cars, including the new Volvo C30 and Volvo XC70 but it can also be fitted to a some earlier models.
The dealer-fitted accessory kit includes the nüvi 760, a smart mounting bracket on top of the dashboard which Volvo promises is the optimum position for the navigation system. A nice touch is that the bracket is designed to go with the look and feel of the vehicle, and eliminates the need for dangling power cables, adapters, and suction cup mounts. Also the nüvi 760 may also be taken off the mount and moved between different cars.
