Published on November 2nd, 2007 in gps navigation, umpc
Mitac E100 Rugged Tablet PC with GPS just got FCC approval meaning it will be available in the U.S. relatively soon. E100 Tablet PC has an 8.4″ touchscreen, runs on an Intel processor at 800MHz, and comes with 1GB of RAM.
In terms of connectivity this UMPC offers 802.11 b/g wireless, bluetooth, and an optional 3G WAN network antenna. Not to mention you can just slide in your SIM card to connect to 3G cellular networks. The GPS chip is also optional but it’s still worth mentioning on Navigadget.
No word on availability just yet. It’ll most likely be seen in the hands of public safety personnel… via
