pet tracking with GPS
Oct 3, 2007 gps navigation, tracking
This pet tracker from China may not be the best option for your chihuahua, but if you have something slightly bigger you may find it quite useful.
Called GT40, this device communicates via GSM/SMS or GPRS connections. It is quad band so it will probably work fine anywhere around the world. It uses SiRF Star III GPS receiver and can transmit its location either continuously or per request which can be initiated using text messaging.
GT40 hasn’t made it out of China yet but if it ever does we’ll let you know where you can pick it up from.
