GPS receiver for your keychain

The GPS key chain we mentioned back in May is now back under a different brand - Proporta.
Advertised as Freedom Keychain GPS SiRF Star III Receiver, this highly compact device is ideal for connecting to your mobile device when you are on the go. Weighing only 30 grams and lasting up to 9 hours on a single charge this bluetooth GPS receiver sounds like a good investment at $130.

I got mine last week and LOVE it.. I’m using it with a BlackBerry 8700c and Google Maps works really well. I haven’t found any other software that works with it on an 8700c.

BFY,
I use Google Maps stand alone. How much better is Google Maps with the GPS?

Will this work on a Bluetooth enable laptop such as a Macbook?
