Magellan Maestro 3270

Apparently Magellan has a hidden model called Maestro 3270 which we failed to mention when the Maestro 3200 series were announced. Not to mention it wasn’t even in their press release.
The closest known model to 3270 is the Maestro 3250 which supposedly was the high-end from these series and featured integrated live traffic, voice command and control, built-in AAA TourBook, text-to-speech, and bluetooth. Since they both use the same manual which surfaced when the device got FCC approved, they can’t be very different but we’re still not sure what other feature Magellan can introduce with the Maestro 3270. It could possibly just be a version that contains more maps - or a model only available in Europe. We’ll be sure to let you now when we find out for sure.

In the press release about the Chinese market (http://www.magellangps.com/news/releases/viewRelease.asp?id=572) there is also mention of a Maestro 3200C, 8200C and 8250C. It seems likely that the 3200C is just a Chinese version of the 3200, but the 82X0 is an interesting twist.

Maybe 82xxs is their version of 42xxs. We’ll see what else we can find about this.

GPS with integrated terminal emulation. You can’t beat that.
