Binatone Carrera X350
Published on September 5th, 2007 in gps navigation
Many GPS devices have surfaced at IFA in Berlin this year. One of these Binatone Carrera X350. It has a slim profile which makes it also suitable for pedestrian use as well as in-car use.
It comes with free UK safety camera warnings and does full UK 7 digit postcode search. It has a 3.5″ screen, offers 3D map rendering, and and SD card expansion slot through which you can view digital images and certain documents.
Binatone Carrera X350 is already available in Europe for £130 but we have no information whether it’ll be available on the State side.

Anne Murray:
I don’t know about changes for NZ, but I installed TomTom6 on mine as I did not really take to the navigation software that comes pre-installed. TomTom works fine is NZ with the right maps I imagine.

FYI - I paid £59.99 for mine from Currys in the UK.

Hi i have brought the x350. i got intouch with Binatone to purchase a sd card map as i wonted to use it in Cyprus. But was told the maps do not contain Cypus. could you advise if you know if any other sd maps have Cyprus on them and if they work in the X350. Thanks D.
