Magellan just added a bunch of new models to its Maestro series. The 4200 series is made up of three models which are as follows:
Maestro 4250: $500 - available in October
This one offers live traffic info (3 mo’s free), voice command and control, built-in AAA TourBook and Roadside Assistance information, text-to-speech, bluetooth for hands-free calling, all on a 4.3″ wide screen display.
Maestro 4220: $450 - available in October
4220 comes pre-installed with maps of Mexico in addition to U.S., Puerto Rico and Canada. This is a definitely a first in the GPS navigation industry. It also offers text-to-speech function.
Maestro 4200 $350 - available in October
We don’t have specific details for 4200 but most probably it will be the same as 4220 minus the maps of Mexico.
All new models share a newly designed slim body at only 17.8 mm thick and 82.5 mm tall, 4.3″ touch screen, and the high sensitivity SiRF Star III GPS receiver chip.
