garmin nuvi 760

The second addition to the new nuvi 700 series is garmin nuvi 760. This one also has a wide 4.3″ screen and the new feature to help you find your car:
…And to help drivers find their car in an unfamiliar spot or crowded parking lot, nuvis 760 automatically marks the position in which it was last removed from the windshield mount
If you have a compatible bluetooth phone nuvi 760 will happily pair with it and help you locate – say a restaurant – , find it’s phone number, and even call to make reservations. Of course you’ll still have to do the talking when the call gets through.
Nuvi 760 also has a built-in FM transmitter to wirelessly transmit turn-by-turn directions and street names, MP3s and audio books through your car’s streo and also has Garmin’s FM traffic receiver to help you stay out of traffic jams. However all you’ll get free is only 3 months to this service, and you’ll have pay for subscription from there on. nuvi 760 also offers customizable maps to let you add speed camera zones and such.
Nuvi 760 will come preinstalled with maps of U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico and will cost you a whopping $800!

I bought Nuvi 760 as a semi-truck driver and the fact that it has the multi-waypoints. After I charged it, I noticed there is no “Truck” option in the vehicle-routing profile.
In the c330 and even the Nuvi 660′s vehicle-routing profiles include Car/Motorcycle, Pedestrian, Bicycle, Truck, Bus, Emergency, and Taxi.
Is this hidden or carried over to the Nuvi 760? (I just bought it yesterday).
Please respond.
Thanks

We work with a large number rof semi drivers, fleet and independent and I have never seen any of them use a nuvi. There are dozens of specified units, with logging and different maps which show overpass height limits, weigh stations etc. for this.

I also am an over the road truck driver but was very disappointed there is no truck setting for heighth issues, the first time I used it was downtown Chicago and it kept routing me in low clearance roads, not a good thing, otherwise I really like the 760 so far.

I have been using Nuvi 760 for about three weeks now. Nuvi 760 is a compact and very refined GPS unit with useful navigation-related core features such as street naming and speed limit posting; Bluetooth capability is very important as it allows a hand-free mobile phone operation during driving (this is the cheapest 7xx series Nuvi with Bluetooth capability). With the firmware update (available on Garmin web site), the unit picks up satellite signal quickly.
