Nokia 500

Nokia just announced a new standalone GPS navigation system called Nokia 500. Nokia 500 has a wide 4.3″ touch screen, bluetooth feature so you can take calls on your bluetooth phone hands free, and FM transmitter so you can listen to your audio files on your car’s stereo.

Nokia 500 is also capable of receiving live traffic info which can be displayed on the split screen in addition to other details that may help during your journey. It also does text-to-speech which currently is only supported on high end GPS devices.

Nokia 500 will be available in Europe fourth quarter of this year for 300€ ($410). We can’t wait for this to be available in the U.S. We’ll be sure to let you know when that happens… via
