From my understanding, i-gotU works with ALL digital camera AND camera phones. So i-Phone should be included compatible with i-gotU.

This is really a cute GPS design, it’s not only a personal tracker but works nice for travelers. BestBuy should bring it in now.

It is a perfect gadget! I have been using it for several trips and I am quite content after getting a hand with it.
Basically it geo-tag photos using its own i-gotU software on PC after you have download the photo and log to the computer.
So there is no compatibility at all.
What ever photo source you can get is fine.
If photos are taken by your camera or mobile phone, then the photos can be geo-tagged easily with their time stamp.
If you find find good photos or online video which is a good reference on the internet. Then you can still manually place the photo on the location as a place mark or embed that nice videos.
I think it’s quite useful because sometimes I maybe just don’t take a better video with my camera or camera phone. Also, some videos are like introduction of a place. Good reference for my friends who viewed my trip blog too.
