Sanyo NVM-4070

Sanyo just announced NVM-4070 which we first announced when it made it through FCC. NMV-4070 is a GPS navigation system that comes with a 4″ touch screen, TMC capability, and bluetooth hands free integration.
NVM-4070 is also very media capable. It can play MP3,WMA, and WAV files, show JPEG pictures and play MPEG-4 movies. It also has an FM transmitter so it can utilize your car’s stereo.
Here are some of the other features:
- Large 4″ wide (16:9) touch-screen display with anti-glare
- Bluetooth hands-free calling, data transfer and SMS (text messaging)
- Text-to-speech voice-guidance and turn-by-turn directions
- Built-in GPS antenna
- U.S. (including Alaska and Hawaii), Canada and Puerto Rico map data pre-installed
- 1.8 million points of interest, featuring 35,000 POI’s with description, phone number and cost info within 50 major cities
- Plays user’s MP3 / WMA music files stored on optional SD Card or internal memory
- Stereo Headphone Jack (3.5mm)
- SD memory card slot
NVM-4070 comes with maps of North America already installed and should cost about $500.
